It's hard to imagine quitting on the spot in such a public way, but one cannot help but feel a kind of second-hand fulfillment from this employee's audacity. After years of being ignored and disregarded at work, she decided to make her presence known before she walked out of there for good.

It's the type of departure most folks wish they could orchestrate themselves, but it's not exactly feasible in most work environments. After all, when you're quitting, there are several important things to consider before departing forever. You want to negotiate the best circumstances for your well-being, especially when it comes to any remaining PTO, healthcare, or financial considerations. Furthermore, as much as you might like to stick it to the man, you probably have to leave on good terms with at least someone important at the company so that you may use them as a reference moving forward. Of course, it's annoying to voice these very real concerns, but whether we like it or not, it's a part of the reality that comes with quitting one's job.
